If you have the Drew Tech J2534 Toolbox software you will see an announcement on the welcome screen.To use the MongoosePro GM II and the CarDaq-M with GDS 2 you need to run GDS2 v11.0.09412 or later. After setting your preferences in the GDS2 software, your Drew Tech device will be listed on the vehicle selection screen.

Drew Technologies is now shipping the Mongoose Pro GM 2. This new Mongoose has been tested with GM’s Tech2WIN diagnostics application. Tech2WIN is a windows-based version of the Tech2 dealership scantool that supports most 1996-present GM vehicles. With Tech2WIN a user can connect to powertrain, chassis, and body systems to read trouble codes, view live streaming data, run bi-directional controls, and perform diagnostic routines.
